Joan Geyer Kaliher is a Certified Illinois Teacher -- Endorsements in Math, Science, Social Studies, Technology and Art. She has been tutoring since 1987 and has experienced the one-on-one private tutoring which can change a floundering or frustrating student experience to a positive direction.

Joan has worked in accelerated and standard Math in Naperville Indian Prairie School District 204, as well as, in Lisle District 202.  We tutor Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, General Science, Biology, Chemistry, English, Writing, Reading, History, World Cultures, AP, Honors, Study Skills along with Test PREP for the SAT and ACT. Our students are primarily from Districts 203 and 204, Benet Academy, St. Frances High School, Downers Grove North and South High Schools. We welcome students from Wheaton, Bolingbrook and Lisle.

She holds a Bachelors of Science; Math and Science Major, Art Minor and a partial MBA.

Joan is also a SEO Marketing Specialist and Search Engine Analyst, providing link building strategies and SEO marketing services for web site presence and organic search.  Leading strategic thought relative to SEO copywriting, PPC campaigns, and web development which employs the latest search techniques, while keeping high standards of quality . Strong and stable proven tactics and methodologies are used. She sets up cross-functional brand teams and multiple brands to support and implement SEO tactics. Researching, identifiying and establishing partnerships with authoritative web sites for link building.

She has volunteered and taught in the Chicago Literacy Reading Program and has a sense of caring, enthusiasm, humor and desire to provide high quality education.

She helps students develop a love for learning, giving consideration to student's learning style and preferred learning modality in customized approach.
